Morbidity

The proportion of sickness or of a specific disease in a geographical locality.
Morbidity can be measured in terms of three units: 1. Proportion of persons who are ill in a given population, 2. The illnesses (periods or spells of illnesses) that these persons experienced, 3. The duration (days, weeks, etc.) of these illnesses.
